Sponsae Christi

Here is a picture of the five girls who became brides of Christ in Wanganui on the Feast of the Epiphany! From left to right, they are Sister Mary Jacinta; our very own Sister Maria Lucia; Sister Mary Raymond (first vows); and then Sister Mary Catherine and Sister Mary Rose who took their final vows and received the wedding ring (of course Sisters get one too - how cool is that? :) )

God bless them all!

My older sister, Lucia. She went down to Wanganui last January and received the habit this year -- and got to keep her name! We are all very proud of her! :)

Ah, that's very nice. So the first one went to God. I suppose giving kids saint names pays off.

Indeed :) Dad has said many times that he's hoping all eleven will end up as religious... I don't know if that'll happen, but it certainly would be awesome.
